Blue Door is a Class-A General Contractor executing New Constructions, Additions and Renovations. We specialize in Interior Design Services, Historic Restoration and Fine Finish Carpentry.

Our focus on the little things allows us to tackle more complex projects. We are able to source and manage an array of specialty trades to ensure that your vision is seen through with care and integrity.
Our wood shop in Winchester, Virginia enables us to provide creative solutions for our jobs on-site. We also specialize in design, fabrication, restoration, and installation of architectural millwork, such as cabinets, trim, fenestration, etc.

We leverage our experience in restoration,along with research and our local trade network, to service historical building owners as maintenance and construction management contractors. Our in-shop capabilities allow us to do superior restoration work and produce the highest quality reproductions.
The Team
Robert started the shop in 2017 after a decade in the custom manufacturing trades and has worked closely with both commercial and residential clients. His expertise ranges from home building to fine furniture fabrication, metal working and finishing. He is fluent in all construction trades and helps the team bring projects from paper to production.
Ryan joined Blue Door in 2019 as an experienced project manager for commercial real estate interests. He takes the lead on business development, estimating, project management, and client communication. Above all, Ryan is dedicated to absolute satisfaction from our clients and to making our process seamless from start to finish.
Conor is a former Emmy Award-winning producer who, in 2019, shifted careers into his passion: building and design. His affinity for video production and photography crosses industries. In addition to fabrication and project management, he leads our marketing and advertising campaigns, brand strategy and social media accounts.
